Terms of Service

FaceReport terms of service: free entertainment geometry tools, provided as-is, with clear limits on what the measurements mean and how they may be used.

Last updated: 2026-10-23

These terms govern your use of FaceReport ("the site"), a collection of free, browser-based face analysis tools. By using the site you accept them. They exist to keep expectations honest: the tools are for entertainment and learning, and nothing they output is a medical, psychological or scientific statement about you or anyone else.

What the service is

FaceReport provides fourteen interactive tools — scoring pages (PSL scale, PSL score, rate my face, attractiveness tests), eye geometry pages (canthal tilt, hunter eyes), proportion pages (golden ratio, beauty ratios, facial thirds), a symmetry page, a face shape detector and two live mirror pages. Every analysis runs locally in your browser. The service is free, requires no account, and is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

What the measurements mean — and do not mean

Outputs such as the geometry balance index, PSL-style score, symmetry index, canthal tilt angle or face shape class are heuristic descriptions of one photograph's geometry. They:

  • are not medical or anatomical diagnoses;
  • are not psychological or sociological assessments;
  • are not validated measures of attractiveness or personal worth;
  • change with camera, lens, angle, lighting and expression, by design.

Scoring formulas are published and versioned so results are reproducible, but reproducibility is not clinical validity. If a number interests you, re-test with different photos and observe the variance — that variance is the most honest output the site offers.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the tools only on photos of yourself or of people who have explicitly consented. You agree not to use the site to harass, shame or bully anyone, not to misrepresent measurement outputs as clinical facts, and not to attempt to overload, scrape destructively or reverse the service into a claim you own our methods. Automated access that respects the site (a crawler, a research script) is fine; republication of large parts of the page content as your own is not.

Intellectual property

The site's code, texts, brand mark and generated assets belong to FaceReport. The face landmark model and its runtime are third-party open-source components used under their own licenses. Your photos remain entirely yours — as stated in the privacy policy, we never receive them, so we cannot claim any rights over them.

No professional use

The outputs are not fit for professional purposes: not for medical or dental consultation, not for orthodontic or surgical planning, not for hiring, profiling or any decision about a person. Professionals should use calibrated, purpose-built instruments. If a number from this site influences a decision that matters — health, employment, self-image — treat that as a signal to stop and consult a qualified human, not to trust the tool more.

Availability and changes

The service may change, gain or lose features, or be suspended at any time. Pages may be added, translated or reorganized; scoring formula versions may evolve, and each version's results apply to the runs made under it. We aim to keep every published page functional, but no uptime is promised.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceReport is not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site — including decisions you make based on a score, an angle or a shape class. The tools are curfewed by design: they measure, they do not advise. Beauty, health and worth judgments are yours and your community's, not the site's.

User content and conduct

You remain solely responsible for any photo you submit to the tools and for any file you create with them. The site never sees your content, so it cannot moderate it — which places the entire responsibility for lawful, respectful use with you. Do not use the tools on photos of people who have not consented, on photos taken in private contexts without permission, or to produce material intended to demean, harass or deceive. Sharing a downloaded geometry card is your act, not ours, and these terms travel with it.

Accuracy expectations

The measurement pipeline is engineered to be reproducible rather than flattering: identical photos produce identical outputs, and the formulas, weights and tolerances are published on each page. Still, a browser-based pipeline has honest limits — lens distortion, lighting and pose all move landmarks, and the quality gates exist precisely because some photos cannot support precise claims. When a tool refuses to output a number, treat that refusal as the system working as intended.

Translations

The service speaks six languages. Each language version of a page carries its own localized content; where wording differs across translations of these terms or of any page, the English version is the reference for resolving the difference. This is a practical rule, not a value judgment about any language.

Accessibility

The tools are built to remain usable with keyboard navigation, readable contrast in both light and dark themes, and text alternatives where they carry information. Some interactive features — canvas overlays and live camera comparisons — are inherently visual; their core numbers are always duplicated as plain text in the result cards.

Notices

These terms were last published on 23 October 2026. Material changes will be reflected in this file with an updated date. Because the service has no accounts, there is no channel for individual notice beyond this page — checking back here is the agreed method.

Governing terms

These terms are provided in six languages for convenience; the English version is the reference. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Continued use after an update to these terms constitutes acceptance of the update. Published on 23 October 2026.
